Session Infomation

The advancement of liquid crystal has enabled new photonic devices and extended new application fields of such materials and devices. We can find liquid crystal devices in signal processing fields such as optical fiber communications and radio-frequency communications as well as great success of display applications. This session focuses on such new liquid crystal materials and devices and photonic technologies to evaluate these materials. In addition, we welcome papers on new functional devices and new application fields of liquid crystals.
