Session Infomation

The emerging electromagnetic and optoelectronic problems involve the multiphysics process, such as nonlinear and quantum plasmonics, light-to-electricity conversion, and optical-thermal process. This special issue aims to bring together the latest research on multiphysics in electromagnetics and optoelectronics from theory and modeling to application. The topics of this session focus but not limite on simulation techniques in FDTD, MoM, FEM, TDIE, DGTD, DDM, hybrid method, etc., for multiphysics and multiscale problems involving:  

nonlinear and nonlocal response in electromagnetics
quantum plasmonic effect
plasmonic-thermal and plasmonic-electrical effect
multiphysics in optoelectronics, e.g., perovskite (organic) solar cells, LEDs and PDs
multiphysics in metamaterials, metasurfaces and topological insulators
electrical-thermal-mechanical effects in emerging RF/THz electronics
quantum measurement/imaging/detection/computing
