Session Infomation

This session focuses on latest developments in random medium scattering theory, and advances in microwave remote sensing techniques. The topics include, but are not limited to, advanced electromagnetic theory and efficient numerical methods theories for random media scattering, emergent concept of accelerating forward modeling and parameter inversion with artificial intelligence, advanced applications of polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery, technical innovations in microwave remote sensing of various environmental parameters such as soil, ocean, snow, ice, vegetation, etc.
