PIERS —— A global symposium committed to
advancing photonics and electromagnetics for the benefit of humanity.
The conference session on "External Field-induced Motion of Materials and Systems" will explore the various ways in which materials at nano-/micro-/ and macro-scale can be moved and/or change shape under the influence of external fields such as electric, magnetic, electro-magnetic or thermal fields. The session will be of interest to scientists and engineers who are working in the fields of physics, material science, engineering, chemistry, physical-chemistry, chemical-physics, biotechnology.
The session will cover the latest developments in the field, including the development of novel techniques, materials and devices for field-induced motion, and advances in computational modeling and simulation methods that allow for the prediction and control of such phenomena.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and exchange ideas with experts in the field, and learn about the latest cutting-edge research in this very exciting and rapidly evolving area.
