Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have been envisioned as a key technology for beyond 5G and 6G communications due to their unique capabilities for high-speed data rate, low latency, and flexible wavefront manipulations, etc. This session focuses on the recent advances of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces for beyond 5G and 6G communications. The topics include the reconfigurable intelligent surfaces for sensing, localizations, gesture recognition, and wireless communications, the related artificial intelligence algorithms.
