The past decade of research has delivered many advances in the area of metasurface, among which the reconfigurable metasurface is proposed with dynamic controlling capabilities to achieve multiple function in various fields. This session focuses on recent advances as well as ongoing challenges in reconfigurable metasurface, e.g. programmable and intelligent metasurface, from its structure designs, desirable properties and practical applications.
