Session Infomation

The broad spectral resources covering from terahertz to infrared regimes have attracted wide interest from both academia and industries due to the important applications in sensing, information technology, aerospace and bio-medical engineering. The recent development on new physics, new materials, new nanofabrication method and meta-design principles have demonstrated great potential to manipulate the radiation, propagation and exchange of signals, and bring the possibility to solve the scientific problem behind the critical engineering bottlenecks. This session aims at communicating the research progresses on the design, fabrication, and application of terahertz and infrared technologies. Potential topics include but are not limited to: metasurfaces, metamaterials, nanofabrication technologies, sensing, optical waveguide, imaging and spectra reconstruction.
