Deep learning has experienced remarkable success in image and speech processing, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and more. Recently, it is rapidly emerging as an extremely powerful tool in broad areas of electromagnetic research. With the aid of massive parallel computing and big data technology, deep learning has significantly improved the performance of electromagnetic modeling and imaging. This session focuses on the deep learning-based technologies for electromagnetic modeling and imaging, leading to novel methodologies of electromagnetics-oriented deep learning techniques and expanding applications of deep learning in electromagnetic engineering. Example topics include fast electromagnetic computational methods using deep learning, electromagnetic parameterized modeling using deep learning, deep learning-based novel electromagnetic imaging, sensing and applications for detecting, monitoring, healthcare, or security, etc.
